US Highway 1 North WOODBRIDGE MEMORIAL GARDENS is a non-sectarian mausoleum serving the New York, New Jersey metropolitan area. It was dedicated on May 14, 1977 and is one of the first mausoleums to be built in Middlesex County. The original mausoleum provided 650 crypt spaces. With the construction of several additions, the chapel, garden and sheltered crypts and niches now exceed 17,000 spaces. The mausoleum provides a serene environment for our visitors with its many beautiful sculptures, ornaments and stained glass. A full size reproduction of Michelangelo’s Pieta is on permanent display in the Chapel of the Pieta. Italian sculptors hand carved the six foot, 5,000 pound statue from one solid block of marble selected from the same Cararra quarry Michelangelo personally selected marble for his original masterpiece. A lovely koi pond is a recent addition to a courtyard area of the mausoleum and a fountain compliments the Atrium Woodbridge Memorial Gardens is conveniently located on US Highway 1 North at the corner of Woodbridge Center Drive in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The location provides easy access to all major highways.
