Wayne Memorial Park is a 35 acre cemetery that was established in 1948. There are three Mausoleums on site, one which has a chapel that is available for our property owners to use for a funeral service at no charge. We have rows of hedge bushes that line the entrance of the cemetery as wells as those that landscape our many different features. Many people have commented that Wayne Memorial Park does not look like a cemetery, but that in fact it looks like a field of flowers. This is due to all of our markers being flat bronze markers that are flush with the ground. Our first burial occurred on February 13, 1949, and since then we have had over 10,035 burials. We take great pride in the upkeep of our cemetery and also making sure that our families are well taking care of. Wayne Memorial Park rests on North Carolina’s Coastal Plain and is situated near the Neuse River.
