How many cemetery spaces would you potentially be interested in?
375 W. Cleveland Road Need to buy cemetery products at this location? St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park’s ground was broke in 1929. At that time the area around Route 23 and Grape Road was rugged farmland, five miles from South Bend. As a Memorial Park of 80 acres it has the concept of a park-like environment with only flush bronze memorials. There is an Old English Tower that stands at the gate of entry. As you drive though the Memorial Park you see a wide variety of trees, landscaping and a pond with fountains that captures the park-like atmosphere. St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park has an office to serve families just inside the entry gate at Grape Road. In the 1970’s there was a Garden Mausoleum and a Chapel Mausoleum built. The Chapel Mausoleum offers a serene chapel that families often use for committal services and in the alcoves there are crypts and niche banks. In 2000, another Garden Mausoleum was built offering a wall of crypts and niches dedicated to Veterans and their families. The Park also offers many sections through out such as a Lawn Crypt section, Catholic section and a Veteran’s Section. With over 20,000 burials, St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park is one of the outstanding burial places in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park rests on the border of the South Bend area and is a great choice if you are looking for a St. Joseph County cemetery, Granger cemetery, or South Bend cemetery.
