Located in the historic town of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Oak Hill Cemetery was established in 1906. Oak Hill is a beautiful old cemetery with many variables: we have the Warden family private estate that has eight crypts and beautiful stained glass windows and granite steps. One of the local entrepreneurs, Sidney Shannon, who owned the Shannon airport and the Sheraton Hotel, is entombed here in a private crypt. Oak Hill has many beautiful private crypts and upright monuments, as well as a flat bronze memorial section. We have three community mausoleums which are completely filled at this point. In addition, we have a Chapel Mausoleum available with inside and outside crypts that will be expanded in the near future. We also feature two columbariums and a cremation section. We also have a Greek Orthodox section and two Jewish sections, one of which is owned by Carl D. Silver, who is rated as the 7^th wealthiest man in the state of Virginia. We also offer cremation burial – in ground and above ground niches. Oak Hill provided an elegant, well maintained place to be buried.

Many consider the grounds to be beautiful in their own right. We are proud of this and take seriously the responsibility of maintaining its artistic and natural beauty, which is why we insure that a portion of the cost of a burial site is set aside for perpetual care.
