Located just 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon Cemetery was dedicated at 11am on Thursday, June 25^th, 1874. Serving all people, regardless of religion, nationality, gender or race. In 1980 the Temple Emanuel and Beth El synagogues established Jewish sections in the cemetery.

Every Memorial Day weekend, the cemetery is filled with people honoring our veterans. Mount Lebanon closes part of Washington Road in front of the cemetery for their annual Memorial Day parade. The parade continues through the street and ends inside the cemetery where a memorial takes place in the chapel of our mausoleum.

Mount Lebanon Cemetery has plenty of walkers, runners, etc. appreciating the beauty of the park like atmosphere. With 65 acres and almost 25,000 buried here we still have a variety of cremation, traditional and private mausoleum areas available. The cemetery also has an indoor mausoleum, which holds cremations, traditional burials and private rooms.
